Song comics
Somehow this idea caught in my artist’s brain, like an earworm of a song. Certain songs feel more “suggestive of a story” than others, and they call out to me to be a comic. Bite-sized, evocative imagery, and a perfect excuse to experiment with different styles. Still not sure if I’m fully behind the term Songmics, but that’s what I’ve named the folder where I save them.
I have this grand notion that people might have fun guessing what the song is just from the comic. I don't have lyrics directly in the images unless the song implies speech or text. If it proves more "annoying as shit" than "fun puzzle", I'll scrap the idea and update...
